Cool Hand Luke Preps For "Final" Cornerstone Appearance
CHL front man Mark Nicks recently announced tentative plans to hang up Cool Hand Luke, so today he wrote this message to fans, announcing the band's final time appearing at Cornerstone Festival this Summer...

"Hello friends,
I hope you are all having a great summer so far. Next week, I’ll be playing several dates in Florida. It’s been a while since Cool Hand Luke has been to some of these cities, so I look forward to seeing a lot of you again.

My wife and I are looking for a place to stay in Jacksonville June 21 and 22. If any of you can help, please email bookcoolhandluke@gmail.com.

The following week I’ll be heading up to Cornerstone. This will be my eleventh Cornerstone with Cool Hand Luke. I want you all to know that this will be the last time Cool Hand Luke plays at Cornerstone. It’s the only festival date that Cool Hand Luke is playing this year. I will be speaking at the Jesus Village Stage Friday, July 3rd. I think it is at 1pm. Then that night at 11pm on the Jesus Village Stage will be Cool Hand Luke’s final Cornerstone performance.

I hope a lot of you can make it to the festival. I’d love to talk to you and trade stories. I know times are hard and money is tight. For those of you who can’t make it to the festival, I’m hoping to still make it out to some of your cities before the year is up. This will most likely be CHL's last year. In the meantime, I continue to write and record when time allows. It’s still too soon to project when anything will be finished, but I’ll try put a song or two up for you to hear as I finish them.
